More than 20 years ago, I needed new brakes. The local mechanic was fully booked, but instead of turning me away, he offered to rent me his tools for fifty dollars and told me I could do it myself.

I didn’t have a choice. My car had to be ready for my early morning newspaper route, so I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. By the time I finished, something had changed.

I had not just fixed my brakes. I had discovered a passion for working on cars. That moment was the beginning of everything and eventually led me to open my own auto repair shop.

Today, I bring that same determination and hands-on care to every vehicle we service at Willy’s Auto Service.
